We haven't been getting out much these days so we spent another rainy day at home. We did manage to go to the library and then little boy had karate class. Mimi was saying at the end of the day that she did not give a gift.
I saw it differently and thought that she gave a great gift. She often loves to dress up and has on several occasions gone out and about with wigs and costumes. Yesterday she wore one of my Halloween wigs to the library and karate. It is a blond curly wig with a tiara on it. This simple wig made people smile for hours as they noticed her bopping about. Many felt compelled to inquire as to who she was or just to tell her how beautiful she looked. Others simply smiled and looked a little longer then they normally would have. Being able to inspire so many smiles on such a gloomy day was a wonderful gift!!!!
She wore that wig all day in the house and played outside with it. My gift was easy..... I gave her the wig! She was so happy.
